As we head towards Winter many livestock farmers will be turning their attention to bringing their cattle indoors for the late Autumn / Winter months. One of the many considerations at this time of year will be ensuring the animals are well fed and have sufficient water available to them.
According to the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, whilst an individual animal’s requirements will vary depending on individual circumstances, environment and diet, the daily need for drinking water is:
